[+1856] Top 14 Top Gear Moments
(unknown author) via Digg / toplinks / today / News on Mon, 24 Nov. 2008
Hecklerspray grudgingly concedes that Top Gear is a fantastic TV show. It’s so good even people who aren’t particularly interested in cars like it. For God’s sake, even their mums like it. In fact, it’s so good, it can even afford to have that annoying, smug, pubic-haired twit Jeremy Clarkson in it - and still be good.

As Schneier says, it is security theatre - let's get over it and focus on reality. Putting my shaving cream in a separate bucket doesn't really improve security, but it appears good and people feel better. in the end, the dollars can be spent in much more useful ways.

Palin draws Democrats with rallying cry

I find this sentiment somewhat frightening as Palin has shown herself to be, well, let's just say it, a little less polished and intelligent that even Bush. Her politics aside, do we really want someone who will close every meeting with "you betcha" a heartbeat away from the highest office in the land?
Lula Easterling and her friend Bill Hardenburgh ha

Twitter and personal branding: The BIG mistake I see people make every single day
David Meerman Scott via Web Ink Now on Wed, 22 Oct. 2008
I've been enjoying Twitter and (so far) have managed not to become obsessed. I'll tweet a few times a day and check out others now and then throughout the week.
As you probably know, people use Twitter to keep their "followers" (people who subscribe to their Twitter feed) updated on their life. For instance, you might tweet about the conferen

While there is a touch of framing in the article, it is more than a bit disgraceful to so blatantly violate key aspects of the constitution. Though it is an issue that seems to run through all politics at various degrees.
Palin speaks to young missionaries, vowing from the pulpit to do her part to implement God's will from the governor's office. What s
